Here's a little taste of who I am.

My name is Emily Finkle and I am a young entrepreneur. I am also an aspiring pastry chef who graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. I've always had a love for baked goods and have always made basic things for my family just to see a smile on their face, but never did I think I'd be making a career out of it with so many amazing opportunities. About four year ago I hit a road block in my education and couldn't seem to figure out what I wanted to do for a career. It was then that someone told me that I should do whatever I loved because then I'd never work a day in my life. As I reflected on these words of wisdom, the only thing that came to mind was baking. Baking has been my longest running passion and I love all aspects of it. From the science of baking, to the plating and presentation, it is all so beautiful. A huge part of my happiness comes from making others happy and what better way is there to do that than with some delicious treats? Since I have been given this opportunity I have taken full advantage and am still learning all that I can. I can only hope to be as great as the people we learn about at school and the chefs who teach us. I can't wait to spend my life doing what I love.
